Systems Engineering Applications Engineer

**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineering Applications Engineer to enhance model-based systems engineering (MBSE) processes and best practices across UK operations. As a key member of our Systems Engineering and Design Capability (SE&DC) team, you will support projects using IBM's Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) tools and other systems engineering applications.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Ensure reliability, security, and performance of software applications
* Manage software versions and dependencies (Rhapsody, EWM Eclipse Client, DOORS)
* Coordinate with packaging teams and manage Windows 11 testing
* Support server upgrades and maintenance
* Manage ALM upgrade UAT campaigns
* Assist with ALM token management and user monitoring
* Manage and retire legacy applications
* Upgrade ALM Widgets, Add-ons, and digital continuity adapters

**Requirements**

* Background in IT with experience in software application management, maintenance
* Practical use of IBM tools (Rhapsody, DOORS Classic, IBM ELM) is highly desirable
* Keen to enhance skills in Systems Engineering application management
* Degree in a relevant field and post-graduation experience is desirable but not essential
