Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled News Content Strategist to develop and implement a global blog strategy that supports improved engagement among potential and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a compelling global blog strategy that supports improved engagement among potential and existing customers
  • As the blog editor, you'll bring a strong understanding of narrative structure in different formats of content, including business news, case studies and operational updates
  • Design a governance framework that is clear and well communicated across the business
  • Create scalable procedures, measurement practices and templates
  • Build and maintain an editorial calendar that is consistent with business priorities
  • Be highly collaborative in developing the strategy and operating plan to maximize the value and impact of the blog
  • Work with and influence stakeholders, encouraging alignment and collaboration
  • Help to manage change across the business as the strategy and processes evolve
  • Actively monitor trends and advise teams on how to elevate content on the blog
Requirements
  • Blog and/or content strategy development and implementation
  • Strong writing and editorial skills
  • Strong technical skills for website or blog management
  • Influencing and communicating global style guides with regional nuances
  • Defining and communicating tone and voice for a blog platform
  • Project, platform, agency and change management
  • A demonstrable record of success and excellent communication skills
  • Leveraging data to form compelling strategic recommendations
  • Instilling confidence in stakeholders with data and effective measurement practices
  • Setting up measurement practices
  • Working with global cross functional teams
  • Strong writing and editorial abilities
  • Strategic thinker with a keen ability to execute
  • Deep understanding of technical SEO
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with building and scaling processes
