Job Title: Therapeutic SEN Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As a Therapeutic SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a curriculum that meets the needs of our students with complex special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of students with complex special educational needs
  • Work with the Headteacher to develop a therapeutic approach to teaching and learning
  • Create a positive and safe learning environment for students
  • Promote positive relationships between peers
  • Teach students of all ages, with a focus on those with autism and learning disabilities
  • Lead on a curriculum area(s) and develop a comprehensive portfolio of education, care, and therapy

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Calm, engaging, resilient, and innovative teaching style
  • Ability to work with students of all ages, with a focus on those with autism and learning disabilities
  • Experience of working with students with complex special educational needs
  • Ability to develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of students
