Beauty Supply Chain Manager

As a key member of our client's Nottingham head office team, you will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all aspects of procurement and logistics/inventory control within the business.

This includes full ownership and accountability for product management, sourcing, purchasing products, and the movement of both domestic and worldwide shipments. You will work closely with our network of partners to ensure best value and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a team of Supply Planners to optimize stock procurement and maintain lean inventory levels using our bespoke ERP system, Morse, and relevant sourcing tools.
  2. Oversee a team of Logistic/Inventory Controllers to ensure the integrity of Agilitas and Customer owned stock during movement/s of both domestic and worldwide shipments using Morse planning software and relevant partner tools.
  3. Negotiate commercial and best value terms and agreements with vendors, partners, and service providers at all levels.
  4. Partner/Supplier assessment, management, and reviews to establish relationships with a global supply chain, ensuring best value and compliance to expected standards while promoting strong ethical and co-operative values.
  5. Maintain all types of export documentation, including Commercial Invoices, EUR1's, ATR's, Certificates of, Dangerous Goods Certificates, Known Consignor Certificates, and Letters of Credit.
  6. Continuously explore and implement In Country opportunities in the EU network to reduce purchasing spends and lead time.

Reporting and Analysis:

  1. Provide and report on KPI's for the team and department, including purchasing effectiveness, reduced stock valuation, Partner OTIF, and Logistic Spends.
  2. Act on Excess and Obsolete (E&O) stock reports to develop strategies for future minimization and suggest tactical solutions for excess clearance back into the supply chain.
  3. Other business analysis reporting related to procurement and inventory management as required.
