Learning Mentor Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Mentor to join our team at Academics Ltd. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a positive impact on their lives.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, developing and implementing personalized learning plans to address individual needs and promote progress. They will collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing tailored support to students with diverse needs, including specific learning difficulties, behavioral challenges, or emotional needs.
  • Designing and implementing effective learning strategies to enhance student progress and confidence.
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
  • Solid knowledge of various SEN conditions and effective strategies for supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive access to our 'Refer a Friend' scheme, generous rates of pay, and a dedicated SEN Consultant.
