Lead the Data Warehouse Team

We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Manager to lead our data warehouse team in the production of BAU data loads, storage, DR, reporting, and outbound data. As the authority on database management, development, architecture, and future design considerations, you will provide guidance and expertise to ensure the efficient operation of our strategic information services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and apply best practices in database management, development, and architecture to create a roadmap for data warehouse future.
  • Work closely with teams across Cornerstone and its third-party suppliers to ensure the delivery of the overall BI Team roadmap and project developments.
  • Lead the data warehouse team, managing workload and expectations to the business, and work with the team to build objectives and plan in line with the BI roadmap.
  • Represent and promote the interests of the data warehouse team across the business through appropriate meetings around BAU and projects.
  • Manage and assist with BAU work and report production, including review and continual development of the daily and overall warehouse processes/controls to improve the performance and reliability of the system.
  • Drive the Data Warehouse team to deliver solutions that fulfill the Business information needs and align with the Data strategy and vision.
  • Monitor Azure costs and proactively look for ways of optimizing the data warehouse to reduce spend.
Requirements
  • MSSQL/MS SQL Azure experience.
  • Database developer and database architecture and design skills.
  • Experience with SSIS, SSRS, SSMS, and SQL Profiler.
  • Project Manager experience.
  • Scripting Languages – Powershell, Javascript, JQuery, VBScript, BatchScript, and Azure DevOps.
