Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Researcher to join our team in Cirencester. As a Renewable Energy Investigator, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research, analysing data, and presenting findings to support decision-making. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for knowledge discovery.

About the Job
This is a temporary to permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break. You will be based at our head office in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. We offer a competitive salary (£25,500 - £27,000 per year) and 25 days' holiday plus a day off for your birthday in addition to bank holidays. There is free parking on site.

Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Design, plan, and execute research projects in alignment with organisational goals or project objectives.
  • Gather, analyse, and interpret qualitative and/or quantitative data from a variety of sources.
  • Store, manipulate and present data using GIS mapping tools.
  • Conduct literature reviews and stay updated on current trends, developments, and advancements in the renewable energy field.
  • Develop research methodologies, tools, and frameworks to address specific research questions.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports, papers, and presentations to communicate findings and insights effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, or external partners as needed.
  • Ensure research processes comply with ethical guidelines and standards.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, improvement, or new research initiatives.
