Job Description

Ribbons & Reeves, a leading education recruiter in London, is seeking a qualified SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Brent.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year's experience working with SEN children and have excellent knowledge of SEND. A strong understanding of classroom management and the ability to create a productive learning environment are essential for this role.

We offer a competitive salary of £575 per week, paid weekly via PAYE, and term-time work only. Our school provides training from professional SENDCo and other professionals to support your career development.

About the Role:

  • Assisting with classroom management and creating a productive learning environment
  • Supporting SEN students' learning within a primary school setting
  • Using initiative to drive student progress and achievement
  • Working in a whole class, small group, and 1:1 session environment
  • Imitating lesson plans effectively to support student learning

About You:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology or related area from a top UK university
  • At least 1 year's experience working with SEN children (preferred)
  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of SEND
  • Strong communication, patience, and resilience skills
  • Possession of a passion for Psychology and Education
