Head of HR and Talent Acquisition

Due to the successful expansion of Omnia Consulting Ltd., we are seeking a highly motivated and proactive HR & Recruitment Manager to join our team.

We require an energetic and ambitious individual to assist in the development of our growing team, which provides high-quality geo-environmental and pre-planning advice across various sectors, including residential, commercial, rail, highways, and emerging areas of operation.

The ideal candidate will possess a high level of competence, with over 5 years of experience in HR, recruitment, employment law, talent development, reward management, and HR-related issues.

  1. Training and Development: Manage employee training and learning opportunities, ensuring they align with the company's goals and objectives.
  2. Employee Performance: Monitor attendance, sickness, and personal issues, and implement strategies to improve employee well-being and productivity.
  3. Employment Law: Stay up-to-date with key employment law principles and respond to HR-related issues, such as disciplinary procedures and employee grievances.
  4. Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment process, including collaborating with managers to create job postings, screening candidates, inducting new staff, and conducting exit interviews.
  5. Company Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain employee handbooks, company policies, and HR systems on key topics, such as health and safety, wellbeing, and diversity and inclusion.
  6. Senior Management Liaison: Advise senior managers on legislative changes and suggest business improvements to maintain compliance.
  7. Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  8. Reporting and Analysis: Present, analyze, and interpret HR-related data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for business improvement.
  9. Desirable Skills: Possess a full clean UK driving license and be willing to travel for business purposes.
