University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and services in Furness Rapid Response. We are seeking an experienced Service Manager for Community Care, who will be responsible for managing the team, ensuring timely appraisals, mandatory training compliance, sickness management, and all related human resource activity with the support of the HR team.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of Community Services and excellent leadership and management skills. They will work alongside other Rapid Response Team Leads, Matron, and Clinical Service Manager to embed changes in services.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on the location and industry standards. The salary may vary depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a small and highly complex caseload of patients, prioritizing, assessing, coordinating, delivering, and reviewing whole programs of care delivered. You will also ensure high standards of care are delivered to patients and their families/carers within their home environment or on Step up/down units.

You will contribute to service development, support development of collaborative working and integration with health and social care providers. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and staff.
