Job Description

As a Year 2 teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to a class of students. You will work closely with the school leadership team to ensure that every student achieves their academic potential.



Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teach a class of students and plan engaging lessons to meet their educational needs.
  2. Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and guardians.
  3. Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to achieve the school's goals.
  4. Contribute to the development of curriculum and lesson plans.
  5. Participate in school events and activities to promote a positive school culture.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with children aged 5-11.
  • Possession of excellent behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Passion for teaching and learning.
