Structural Engineer Opportunity

Access Talent Group is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join their team in the Southern region of the UK. As a key member of the Civil and Structural Engineering and Transport Planning consultancy, you will be responsible for managing projects and ensuring compliance with Eurocodes and BS standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and local authorities to design and implement structural elements in all materials.
  • Prepare calculation packs and NBS specifications for submission to local authorities.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge to support the growth and development of the team.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Contribute to the development of new projects, working closely with Senior Staff and the Managing Director.
  • Manage technical schemes, ensuring high-quality delivery and meeting client expectations.
  • Participate in internal and client project meetings, recording and reporting on key outcomes.
  • Support the Quality Management System, undertaking administrative activities as required.
  • Represent the company brand and reputation through business development and marketing input.
Requirements:
  • 3 years' experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with experience in TEDDS/Tekla Structures/MasterSeries.
  • Design experience in all materials, including Steel, Concrete, Timber, and Masonry.
  • Desire to learn Revit if not already familiar.
  • Sound knowledge of building regulations.

Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 Per Annum
