About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Sonderwell, providing support to adults with a range of disabilities in the Plymouth area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with disabilities, promoting independence and well-being
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, household chores, and medication management
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals
  • Contribute to a supportive team environment, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance the quality of care
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Full UK/EU driving license for insurance purposes
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of disability support and care principles
