Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage up to 20 members of staff across Office, Design, and Production.
  2. Maintain minimum raw material stock levels.
  3. Develop machine & transport maintenance plan and organize preventative maintenance visits.
  4. Oversee site & building maintenance.
  5. Responsible for people-management, recruitment, motivation, training, and development staffing responsibilities.
  6. Manage and ensure business health and safety adherence.
  7. Control all expenditures within agreed budgets.
  8. Maintain the ISO Quality Assurance Accreditation Programme.
  9. Provide leadership, strategic direction, and facilities management to the unit.
  10. Set high personal and professional standards in line with company policy.

Requirements:

  1. A proven track record of General, Operational or Manufacturing management, preferably from the packaging industry.
  2. Some customer-facing experience would be beneficial.
  3. Must be a hands-on Manager.
  4. An organized, flexible individual.
  5. Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001.
  6. Used to working to and organizing processes.
  7. Drive, enthusiasm, and an air of authority.
  8. Polished and determined individual.
  9. Good interpersonal skills.
  10. The ability to work autonomously combined with a methodical and careful approach to responsibilities.
