Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Respite team as a Care Support Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to provide support to clients with varied support needs in a caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the provision of care by attending to the needs and rights of adults with a learning disability and/or mental health condition.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, providing flexible support to clients.
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality care services, promoting continuous improvement and excellence.
- Participate in a 4-week rolling rota, including early and late shifts, and every other weekend.
Requirements
- Commitment to quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of employment.
- Two professional references, including a current or most recent employer.
Regulatory Requirements
- Participation in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Scheme.
- Overseas Criminal Record Check (if applicable).
