Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Staff Assistant to join our team at Chartwells. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to students, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and providing excellent customer service.

About the Job

This is a full-time position working 43 weeks per year, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar catering role and be able to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals to a high standard, ensuring they meet the dietary requirements of our students.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and parents, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional manner.
Requirements
  • A positive attitude, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Previous experience in a similar catering role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • An ability to work well under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with students, staff, and parents in a professional manner.
