About the Role

As a Programme Benefits Realisation Manager at NHS Arden & GEM CSU, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of the Platform Modernisation Programme. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the development, management, and realisation of benefits across the programme, ensuring that all reporting requirements are met. You will work closely with the Programme Director and other stakeholders to ensure the programme's objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assurance that all business cases align with strategic goals and deliver core digital capabilities.
  • Engage with workstreams to manage benefits realisation throughout the programme lifecycle, ensuring progress is tracked and reported accurately.
  • Ensure clear governance is in place for benefits management, providing timely updates and reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a robust Benefits Realisation Strategy, ensuring that forecasted benefits are achieved, reported, and reviewed periodically.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align benefits management with the programme's strategic objectives.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Master's level or equivalent qualification/experience in a related field.
  • Recognised Benefits Management qualification such as APMG Managing Benefits Practitioner or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in complex technology programmes with multiple benefit workstreams.
  • Demonstrable experience applying a Benefits Management Framework and integrating benefits approaches into business processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in the NHS or public sector.
