Maternity Immunisation Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse to join our maternity immunisation team as a Maternity Immunisation Nurse Specialist. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of pregnant women and their babies.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver the maternity immunisation programmes, including influenza, pertussis, BCG and RSV vaccinations, to pregnant women and their babies.
- Work closely with the antenatal and newborn screening team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to provide high-quality care and improve maternity experience.
- Develop and maintain databases to track vaccination uptake and monitor programme effectiveness.
- Manage resources and coordinate the booking process for immunisation programmes.
- Provide education and support to midwives and other healthcare professionals on immunisation public health agenda.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- Education, Training & Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- Relevant Degree or evidence of further study and experience to the equivalent
- Knowledge & Experience
- Awareness of local and national agendas
- Awareness of the public health agenda around immunisations in pregnancy and the BCG programme
- Minimum of 1 year's post-qualification experience
