Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Finance Manager to join our team in Purfleet. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving business performance and ensuring financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to management, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities to enhance profitability.
  • Develop and implement effective budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with stakeholders to achieve accurate and achievable financial plans.
  • Analyze site results, productivity, and overheads to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and propose actionable recommendations to enhance profitability.
  • Ensure adherence to financial processes and controls by both finance and operations teams, and perform regular reviews to verify compliance.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of key controls, ensuring effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial controlling, with a demonstrated track record of success in driving business performance and financial integrity.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, with a strong accounting background preferred.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint and Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, with the ability to extract and analyze financial data for decision-making purposes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
