Procurement Manager

The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join their team. As a key member of the purchasing department, you will be responsible for managing all direct purchasing categories and the Stores team.
Your primary objective will be to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve quality and service. You will also be responsible for managing strategic supplier relationships, mitigating supply risk, and assisting operational departmental budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement function, including strategic purchasing, order management, and supplier performance management.
- Develop and maintain a local supply base that supports the business strategy and ESG objectives.
- Implement and manage key performance indicators, service level agreements, and commercial opportunities.
- Manage food and beverage cost control, margin control, and inventory management.
- Prepare business cases to ensure sound business decisions are made.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have relevant procurement management experience, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a strong attention to detail. Experience within the hospitality industry is desirable but not essential.
Requirements:
- At least two years' managerial experience leading a procurement function.
- Inventory control system / POS system management.
- CIPS qualification (desirable).
- Purchasing systems experience, including EATEC / Infogenesis POS / Supplier Management Platform systems / SAP (desirable).
