About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting research studies to test vaccines, therapeutics, and other fish health products in farmed fish. The successful candidate will join a dynamic group involved in aquaculture product development and biosafety testing of biopharmaceuticals.

This role is based at Moredun Scientific, Pentlands Science Park, near Edinburgh, with regular travel required to an aquaculture research facility in Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research studies to test vaccines, therapeutics, and other fish health products.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective quality management systems.
Requirements
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience working with fish or other aquatic animals in a research environment.
  • A good understanding of research quality management systems.
