Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to drive operational excellence and shape the engineering strategy for a leading manufacturer in Goole.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic leader to develop and implement operational strategies, improve capabilities, and enhance site performance. Working closely with a diverse multi-skilled team, the successful candidate will focus on leading and developing the site engineering team, implementing effective engineering & maintenance standards, and managing operations budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and develop the site engineering team to achieve operational excellence
  2. Implement and maintain engineering & maintenance standards to ensure site performance
  3. Manage operations budget to optimize resource allocation
  4. Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives to enhance site capabilities
  5. Comply with SHE management systems and legislative requirements
  6. Liaise with external best practice and legislative bodies/authorities to ensure compliance

We are looking for an Engineering Manager with a strong track record of driving continuous improvement, implementing lean tools, and performance managing and developing people. The ideal candidate will have a degree in an Engineering discipline, NEBOSH Certificate, and experience of technical and environmental legislation and processes.

This role requires a strong decision maker with the ability to influence engineering teams through ambition and diligence in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £90k - 120k per year + bonus, car allowance, and pension.
