Construction Assessor

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Assessor to join our team, specializing in Plumbing & Plastering. As an Assessor, you will work closely with apprentices, employers, and employer mentors to provide high-quality training and assessments within the workplace.

• Manage a caseload of apprentices and their e-portfolios, ensuring timely completion within agreed timescales.
• Engage with employers and employer mentors to tailor the apprentices' learning based on individual needs.
• Build professional relationships with employers in the sector to encourage employer engagement.
• Ensure key objectives are achieved, including completing reviews, recording off-the-job training, monitoring attendance, and tracking the learner journey.

• Knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and End-Point Assessments in Plumbing & Plastering.
• Understanding of monitoring learners through development action planning and setting SMART targets through progress reviews.
• Experience of successful team working and commitment to a team-based approach.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with excellent timekeeping and attendance.
• Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of apprentices and provide support for additional learning needs, including maths, English, and ICT.
• Hold an Assessor A1 award (equivalent) or be willing to work towards it.
