Mobile Plant Fitter Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to join our Road Machinery team based in the North West region.

As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a range of high-performance pavers and rollers, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.

You will have the opportunity to work independently, traveling across the region to resolve mechanical challenges on-site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Servicing, repairing, and overhauling heavy mobile plant equipment, specifically pavers and rollers.
  • Using diagnostic tools to pinpoint and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Installing the latest software updates to keep equipment running at optimal performance.
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Requirements include:

  • A Level 3 qualification in HGV, Plant, Agricultural, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Previous experience in construction or heavy plant machinery maintenance and repair.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required and handle occasional call-outs.
  • A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
