We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team at Distinct Consultancy Group Ltd. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing effective sales coordination and business administration duties for our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Receive and accurately process customer orders and enquiries, progressing them to completion and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Purchasing and Stock Management: Purchase stock items as necessary, from internal and external suppliers, in accordance with our purchasing guide.
  • Stock Transfers and Delivery Coordination: Liaise with other branches on stock transfers, both inwards and outwards, and coordinate customer delivery requirements to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of sales orders.
  • Quotation and Pricing: Accurately quote transport costs and liaise with regional BDM and BM on pricing of quotations.
  • Sales Development: Maximize sales opportunities and business development within your area, in conjunction with regional BDM and BM.
  • Administrative Duties: Complete daily duties, including despatching, filing, updating 'ship & despatch' dates, and completing other general office duties.
  • Financial Management: Accurately handle cash and credit card payments associated with trade counter sales and process such sales in accordance with our procedures.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience of working in a similar role and/or environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Possess industry/product knowledge (training will be given).
  • Qualifications: NVQ 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient PC skills with MS Office packages, including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Explorer.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: A logical thinker with the ability to solve problems proactively.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Salary: £25K dependent on experience.
  • Holiday Leave: 25 days fully paid holiday leave plus 8 days statutory bank holidays.
