Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day workflow of the design department, ensuring efficient and effective communication with other teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business performance and improve workflow.
- Develop and implement design briefs from internal and external customers, utilizing expertise in 3D rendering and design for manufacture.
- Lead the design of mid-to-medium complexity projects, ensuring high-quality outputs and meeting company requirements.
- Provide operational support and guidance to the design team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and 5S.
- Liaise with customers, including occasional travel for meetings and presentations, to ensure effective communication and relationship-building.
- Recruit, train, and develop a small team of design staff, setting objectives and targets to manage and review performance.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to develop case studies and content aligned with the company's Marketing Strategy.
- Support the company's sustainability goals by staying up-to-date with new products and technologies that can help customers achieve these objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in corrugated packaging design and management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Expertise in 3D rendering and design for manufacture.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external customers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
