Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Machinist/Mechanical Fitter to join our client's team in Gloucester. As a Mechanical Precision Engineer, you will be responsible for working on a variety of special purpose machinery projects, utilizing your skills in machining, insulation, milling, turning, drilling, and welding.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Work to design drawings, ensuring precision and accuracy
  • Machining insulation (soft fiber) and making filament windings on a lathe
  • Milling, turning, and drilling various materials
  • Welding of element terminals and assembly of components
  • Basic wiring and maintaining high levels of quality control
  • Adhering to health and safety standards and maintaining a clean and tidy workspace
  • Carrying out other duties as required by the company
