Teaching Assistant Position

The role of a teaching assistant is to provide academic support to students in a specific subject area. This position is ideal for recent graduates from a Red Brick University, who are looking to launch their career in education.

This teaching assistant role is based in Kingston upon Thames, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to assist students on a 1:1 basis and lead group sessions to help close the achievement gap for those who need it most.

Salary: £480-£600 per week, term-time only

  • Qualifications: First-Class Degree from a Red Brick University, A-Levels and GCSEs (A*-A)
  • Experience: Child-centred experience is preferred, but not essential
  • Contract: November to July, term time only

About You:
  • Hold at least an Upper Second-Class degree in a relevant subject from a Red Brick University
  • Impressive GCSEs and A-Levels (A-A*)
  • Support disciplines include Maths, Science, English, Humanities, Modern Languages
  • Previous child-centered experience in an educational setting
