About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our Electrical & Electronic Systems department at EES Solutions. As a key member of our Model-Based Control Software team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development of our future models, ensuring we remain at the forefront of innovation and excellence in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Lead for Model Based Control Software & embedded systems, driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge technologies.
  • Develop and manage Drive train software and torque control features, ensuring seamless integration with our vehicle lineup.
  • Review logical architectures, Requirements, FuSa requirements and convert these to software requirements, architectures, solutions & appropriate documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Review software architectures and solutions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Define and Review HSI and control system, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Interface with suppliers to deliver robust API's to hardware abstraction layers, board support packages, suitable operating systems, accurate microcontroller loading estimations, memory requirements and other key resources.
Requirements
  • High proficiency in Matlab Simulink, logic development, auto-coding and debugging on target hardware.
  • High proficiency in vehicle communication systems (CAN, LIN) design, development and simulation / analysis tools.
  • High proficiency in embedded systems and electronics, with a strong understanding of control systems and software development.
  • Identification and resolution of technical issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Education
  • BEng or MEng in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Embedded Systems Engineering, with relevant experience in the automotive industry.
