Supervising Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our Connected People's Fostering Team at Cheshire West and Chester Council. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a vital role in assessing potential foster carers, supervising and supporting foster carers, and working collaboratively with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in social work, with experience in a statutory setting and a good understanding of legislation underpinning delivery of social care. You will be able to work across the Cheshire West and Chester Borough and beyond, and will be required to register with Social Work England as a registered Social Worker.
