Optimisation Engineer for Factory Efficiency

Austin Fraser is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to fill a critical role in our Scotland central belt operations. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities across the site, ensuring that they are completed on schedule and to the highest standard. This will involve working closely with management to identify and address maintenance needs, performing routine maintenance tasks, and implementing process improvements to enhance overall site performance.
As a key member of our team, you will also be responsible for driving improvements in machinery, hygiene, quality, and performance across the site. To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in a regulated environment with GMP standards, recognised formal engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or higher in electrical/plumbing or mechanical engineering), and experience with electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repair. The salary for this role is approximately £40,000 per annum, and the benefits package includes a company pension scheme, employee discounts, and free on-site parking.
