Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV-Library, a leading job search platform. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

The Role:
• Carry out day-to-day repairs within the hotel, including plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks.
• Run and record schedules as part of the maintenance team to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Complete small projects and make reactive repairs to keep the hotel running smoothly.
• Conduct general painting and decorating around the hotel to maintain its high standards.
• Respond to engineering and maintenance concerns, as well as guest-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard, taking full responsibility for all work carried out.
• Liaise with relevant departments involved in works to minimize disruptions to guests.

Person Specification:

  • Experience of working in a hotel environment, preferably with a background in maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong plumbing and electrical experience, with knowledge of health and safety procedures.
  • Flexible and able to work varying shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive working environment.
  • Calm and self-motivated individual who can work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
