Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Health and Safety Manager in implementing health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, and conducting training, toolbox talks, inductions, and investigating incidents where required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visiting sites to support the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
  • Conducting training, toolbox talks, inductions, and investigating incidents where required
  • Reviewing the production of risk assessments and method statements
  • Conducting audits and inspections of the site, identifying areas for improvement and helping write reports on the findings
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role ideally from within construction or civil engineering
  • NEBOSH or NCRQ Certificate and ideally IOSH membership
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders
