We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter Apprentice to join our Estates team at The London Clinic. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading private hospital in Central London, offering a competitive salary and a range of benefits.

About the Role

This role is responsible for technical fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of a wide range of engineering plant and equipment, including heat generation, low-pressure systems, heating systems, hot and cold water services, drainage, and air-conditioning.

As a Mechanical Fitter Apprentice, you will be working on maintenance, repairs, minor improvements, and capital work across the Clinic as directed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in accordance with the requirements of the mechanical HTMs for water systems, statutory regulations, legionella regulations, and Clinic policies.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner following the appropriate risk assessment at all times.
  • Undertake essential repair works and general maintenance activities at the request of the management.
  • Undertake technical fault finding on complex mechanical systems and equipment.
Requirements
  • Holds an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering.
