Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced fine dining waiter to join our team at Aston Villa Football Club for the upcoming season. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, creating and maintaining great relationships with them, and working as a cohesive team to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to our guests
- Create and maintain great relationships with guests
- Work as a cohesive team to deliver an outstanding dining experience
- Upsell premium food and drink options
- Wine waiting & wine pairing with menu dishes
Requirements
- Over 18s only
- Able to commit to 90% of the match days for the season
- 12 months of waiting experience
- Confident in the steps of service for an à la carte restaurant
- Confident in loading, carrying, and unloading a tray of drinks
- Confident in suggesting wine to pair with a meal
- Confident in presenting, opening, and pouring both wine & champagne
- The ability to remain calm and collected when busy
- Confidence to interact and build relationships with colleagues & guests
- Cocktail knowledge
- An understanding of fine dining food terminology & menu descriptions
