Teaching Assistant Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at a secondary school in Wakefield. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning process, working closely with teachers to provide additional assistance to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across various subjects.
  • Provide one-to-one assistance to students who require additional support with their learning.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of learning materials and resources.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
