Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Classroom Musician to join our team and contribute to the delivery of our music program. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong passion for music education.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging music lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop a comprehensive music curriculum.
  • Provide individualised support to students with varying musical abilities.
  • Organise and lead extra-curricular music activities, promoting student participation and engagement.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialisation in Music.
  • A strong passion for music and ability to inspire students.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Experience teaching music across key stages (KS3-KS5) is desirable but not essential.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.

Salary: £140-£251 per day (dependent on experience).
