BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is a leading provider of digital defence solutions. Our Electronic Engineers design and develop analogue and digital electronics, VHDL and embedded/low level software for a range of electronic systems.

We are seeking an Electronics Design Specialist to join our team in Great Baddow (Chelmsford). The successful candidate will contribute to the full engineering lifecycle, from working with clients through to every aspect of hardware design and manufacture.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Electronic Engineering and be able to implement complex signal processing algorithms in VHDL. As part of our team, you will work on designing switch mode power supplies, low power embedded systems, and ruggedized devices for challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to the full engineering lifecycle
  • Implementing complex signal processing algorithms in VHDL
  • Designing switch mode power supplies and low power embedded systems
  • Working on ruggedized devices for challenging environments

Requirements:

  • On track to achieve a 2:2 or above in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths (STEM) subject
  • Good understanding of Electronic Engineering
