Principal Electrical Design Engineer

About the Role

  • Lead the production and coordination of electrical design deliverables, ensuring high-quality and timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with multidiscipline teams to deliver complex engineering schemes, focusing on process and water industries.
  • Develop and implement innovative and technically differentiated solutions to meet client needs.
  • Direct a CAD resource to produce top-tier engineering drawings and mentor junior engineers in their professional development.
  • Manage line management responsibilities, fostering relationships with business partners and key clients.
  • Conduct feasibility, outline, and detailed design to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide bid/proposal and hours estimation for design schemes with precision.
  • Conduct thorough technical reviews and help navigate the company's technical assurance function.

Requirements

  • Chartered Engineer status is a must.
  • A solid background within the UK water industry.
  • A driving licence to travel to client sites.
