Job Title: Special Education Needs Support Assistant

Location: Chesham

We are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to provide one-to-one support to a Year 4 student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children with ASD, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build a positive relationship with the student.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a young person. As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with the student's teachers to develop personalized learning plans and provide additional support in the classroom. You will also be responsible for promoting the student's academic, social, and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with ASD or other special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable approach

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
