New Product Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled New Product Development Manager to join our dynamic team at Mackenzie Jones. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire new product development pipeline from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive category and product lifecycle management strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive NPD initiatives and ensure successful product launches
  • Refine new product formulations and enhance existing offerings through market research, consumer feedback, and regulatory insights
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers and ingredients, prioritizing quality and sustainability
  • Conduct and oversee rigorous quality control and third-party testing to guarantee compliance with UK, EU, and US safety and regulatory standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in developing innovative, market-disruptive products in food, drink, or wellness
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the UK, EU, and US
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for addressing formulation challenges and optimizing product performance
  • Extensive project management experience with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage tight deadlines
