FBR Construction Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager - Service Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing daily running of contracts to complete work to quality, time, and cost constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Ensure all site managers have the relevant experience and ability to manage their allocated projects.
  • Project Mobilization: Mobilize allocated projects and ensure we meet and exceed customer expectations in terms of service, reliability, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Workforce Management: Manage workforce productivity, ensuring targets are set and issued before work starts, and manage workforce quality and adherence to specification.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure Health and Safety policies, procedures, safe working practices, and risk assessments are effectively communicated to all site staff and contractors.
  • Communication: Communicate with site teams and workforce so they know what is expected of them, and communicate within the branch regarding costs and progress, explaining any variances.
  • Site Administration: Manage site administration and records, and actively minimize waste on site.
  • Recruitment and Development: Support recruitment and effectively induct and develop site-based staff, including apprentices.
  • Code of Conduct: Ensure all operatives behave in a courteous and polite manner, in line with our Code of Conduct and company approach.
  • PPE and Workwear: Ensure all operatives comply with the company expectations regarding PPE and Workwear.
  • Investigations and Reporting: Engage in any investigations and accident reporting process, and adhere to company vehicle and plant reporting procedures.
  • Employee Engagement: Proactively ensure that employees remain motivated and engaged with the business.

Requirements:

  • Certifications: C&G Advanced/Craft certificate or NVQ L2/3, SMSTS award, and BCTG Supervisor Development Programme certificate.
