About the Role

Pentagon Motor Group is seeking a skilled and reliable Casual Driver to join their Fleet Department in West Hallam. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver vehicles to customers within allocated time scales, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation.
  • Ensure all administrative systems required by the company for deliveries are complied with, and all documentation is completed accurately.
  • Check all vehicles for paperwork, damage, and correct specification before delivery.
  • Take the lead in addressing any customer concerns at handover, providing a positive and professional experience.
  • Log duties on daily log sheets provided and notify the team of available working hours in advance.

Requirements

  • A full, manual, current UK driving license.
  • Excellent organisational skills, communication, and attention to detail.
  • An understanding of the Highway Code and current traffic regulations.
  • A friendly and polite manner, with a positive can-do attitude and team player attitude.
  • Flexibility to work a zero-hours contract, with hours worked typically Monday to Friday.
