Feature Animation Production Manager

As a Feature Animation Production Manager, you'll lead the production of groundbreaking animated films, managing schedules, budgets, and resources while collaborating with top creative talent. Prior experience in feature animation is essential, as you'll be instrumental in delivering projects that uphold ILM's legacy of excellence and innovation.

About the Role:
  • Partner with VFX Supervisors, Animation Supervisors, and other key creative leads to deliver the Director's vision.
  • Manage schedules, processes, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Evaluate financial reports and work with production accountants to provide management with early, consistent, and accurate budget reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to review scripts, breakdowns, and storyboards for specific projects.
  • Develop approaches for producing films and provide clients with estimates of budget and schedule requirements.
  • Serve as a client contact for non-creative issues, tracking and reporting progress, budgeting, and negotiating costs.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, supervise production staff, and balance creative vision with production constraints.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in Feature Animation at a similar level is essential.
  • Proven work experience in production management, including strong working knowledge of CG Animation techniques and terminology.
  • Proficiency in Macs/PCs, including Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and project planning tools.
