XL Recruitments Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Database Service Desk Consultant to join their established support team in London or Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity for IT graduates to progress both technically and professionally. Many employees who have joined the company at a junior level have been given the opportunity to become seasoned Database Administrators.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in Computer Science and/or other IT-related disciplines. Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Manage and maintain enterprise solution products
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to technical issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements

Requirements:

  • IT graduate with a solid educational background
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server
  • Good working knowledge of data entry, maintenance, and management of enterprise solution products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn new software products quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
