Hampshire County Council is seeking a Family Help Team Supervisor to lead one of our new Family Help Teams. As a key member of our Children's Social Care team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Social Workers and Family Support Workers, ensuring high standards are met in delivering a social work service to children and their families.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Team Manager in Children's Social Care and excellent interpersonal skills. They will be able to motivate staff and communicate their passion for achieving the best possible outcomes for children.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising a team of Social Workers and Family Support Workers;
  • Ensuring high standards are met in delivering a social work service to children and their families;
  • Motivating staff and communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders;

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to this, we provide regular supervision, access to excellent training opportunities, and a comprehensive range of benefits including generous annual leave, flexible working options, and access to a generous pension scheme.
