Chef de Partie Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our team at a café/restaurant within a retail unit in Ferndown, Dorset. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and food preparation
  • Prepare fresh quality dishes with good quality ingredients locally sourced
  • Preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to agreed standards
  • Help with preparation of food items and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen
  • Work alongside the kitchen team

Requirements:

  • A good understanding of produce and ingredients
  • Experience in the kitchen
  • Basic knowledge of food production methods
  • Embrace new ideas and processes
  • Positive and approachable manner

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary from £24,700 upwards depending on experience
  • A 38-hour week, 5/7 days, alternate weekends, day-time hours
  • A permanent contract
