We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supportive Teaching Professional - Polaris Community to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant contribution to the education and well-being of vulnerable children.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to support pupils with complex ASC and SEMH needs. As part of our collaborative team, you will work closely with class teams to ensure seamless delivery of learning programs and promote positive relationships between staff and students.

To succeed in this role, you should possess a deep understanding of the national curriculum and a proven ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners. A strong background in behavior management and a commitment to ongoing professional development are also essential. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support pupils with complex ASC & SEMH needs.
  • Collaborate with class teams to ensure seamless delivery of learning programs and promote positive relationships between staff and students.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to pupil support and inclusion.
  • Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extra-curricular activities and school trips.

Requirements:

  • Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
  • Have previous successful teaching experience.
  • Have some previous experience of working with pupils with SEND in an Educational setting.
  • Have experience of behavior management and techniques.
  • Be committed to professional development and willing to learn.
