Speech and Language Therapist in Neuro-Rehabilitation

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Paediatric Team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, where you will be part of a large and dynamic team working across various departments.
Main DutiesThe post provides Specialist Paediatric Care to our varied paediatric caseload, including general clinics and inpatient ward cover. You will be involved in meetings, such as discharge meetings and multidisciplinary case conferences, and participate in the education of other health professionals, including junior doctors, health visitors, and student dietitians.
You will also have the opportunity to be involved in the wider department projects and service improvements, as well as contribute to research and innovation initiatives. Our Therapy Services has a professional skills development programme that complements clinical knowledge and skills learning, which staff are encouraged to attend.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have a Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics, with evidence of post-registration study or development. They will also have Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration as a dietitian.
Desirable criteria include relevant other training or qualification, membership of the British Dietetic Association, and experience in the clinical training of student dietitians or other staff.
