Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Special Purpose Machinery Engineer to join our client's team in Lancashire. As a Control System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems for bespoke, one-off, high-tech automated machinery. This will involve developing PLC software, producing functional design specifications, and creating electrical schematic diagrams.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Machinery Directive and/or Functional Safety and will be able to work effectively as part of a team. They will also have excellent communication skills and be confident working alone at customer premises.

The salary for this role is estimated to be £40-45k per annum, with overtime payments potentially increasing this to £48-70k OTE plus benefits.
